The ozone generator is a device that forms ozone O3 with the help of high-voltage currents. With the help of a built-in fan, it can achieve a sufficient concentration of ozone very quickly for effective disinfection in the room. Ozone, as a strong oxidant, is very effective against viruses, bacteria, mites, odors and mold.

HOW TO USE THE OZONE GENERATOR

Place the ozone generator in the room and set the timer. Adjust the operating time of the ozone generator to the strength of the generator and the size of the room. All the values ​​of room volume are 55% at relative humidity, at higher humidity levels the efficiency of the device is higher and it reaches the required concentration for effective disinfection faster. The longest adjustable interval is 60 minutes, and to ensure the longer life of the ozone generator components, an interval of 30 minutes is recommended. After the selected time, the ozone generator will turn off. Ozone is a strong oxidant whose molecule is chemically unstable. The ozone will decompose back to oxygen within two hours under normal atmospheric conditions. Entering a room without a special protective mask at this time is not recommended, as high concentrations of ozone are harmful to human and animal health. It is also advisable to remove plants and valuable paintings from the room. If there is a possibility to ventilate the room without entering it, you can do so immediately after the ozone generator is finished operating.

For facilities with a volume of more than 950 m3, we recommend disinfecting each room individually. If you also want to disinfect the air conditioner, let it run simultaneously with the ozone generator.

OZONE OPERATION

Ozone is a powerful oxidant and is used, among other things, to disinfect air and water. Upon contact with living organisms such as viruses, bacteria and molds, it completely destroys them by oxidation. Because ozone is gaseous at room temperature, it can penetrate even the most inaccessible parts of the room. It can also penetrate air conditioning slats or book sheets in libraries. As it is one of the strongest oxidants, it is extremely effective in disinfection. It envelops smaller molecules and microorganisms (including viruses such as SARS-COV-2) over the entire surface, destroying them quickly and efficiently. Ozone has a specific odor, which can be detected even at a very low concentration of 0.01 particles / meter, and the safe daily exposure is 0.1 particles / meter. Even at higher concentrations it is very unstable and constantly decomposes into oxygen. In about half an hour in atmospheric conditions it decomposes back to oxygen and this makes it is very environmentally friendly.
