Try the innovative, artist-tested, medical-grade Transfer Film from STANDSTILL!

It creates high definition stencils that allow you to work layer by layer directly onto skin. Unlike traditional transfer paper, this film is applied to the skin and then tattooed through. As the film is water soluble, you should use ointment while tattooing and dry dab excess ink with a paper towel. The film is compatible with inkjet printers.

The Transfer Film has been designed to work with the STANDSTILL Adhesive Stencil Spray to give your stencil a secure and long-lasting hold without the harshness and substantial residue often left by traditional sprays. It's particularly useful on large, curved areas where slipping and smudging is a common issue.

Tested by experienced tattoo artists, STANDSTILL products are organic, eco-friendly, vegan, sustainable and hypoallergenic. The Transfer Film is made from medical-grade PVA and the Adhesive Spray is made from skin-friendly and latex-free medical adhesives.

The STANDSTILL Transfer System is ideal for a range of tattoo styles and techniques including dot work, geometric work, illustrative work, cover ups, tattoo extensions and large scale tattoos. Plus, it's ideal for tricky placements, such as when tattooing the elbows, knees, and neck.

    To use:

Print your design using an inkjet printer

Spray a generous amount of STANDSTILL Adhesive Spray onto clean, dry skin and let it dry for a few seconds

Place the film onto the skin, moving and adjusted if needed

Activate the film by lightly misting from a distance with a disinfectant spray (a very fine spray nozzle is key!)

Tattoo through the film using ointment, dry dabbing excess ink rather than wiping

Remove by wetting a paper towel with green soap and distilled water, placing it over the film to soak for 5 seconds, then wipe away

STANDSTILL recommends that you don't begin with black ink, but a light to medium tone black. You may need to increase your power by a volt or two to compensate for the film, and the brand recommends that you practice first with dotwork and then lining.
